Each year, our congregation rallies together to fill shoeboxes for children in need through Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child — and this year is no different!
Shoeboxes are filled with school supplies, hygiene items, small toys, and most importantly, a personal note of love and the Gospel message. These simple boxes bring joy to children in over 100 countries around the world.
Collection Sunday is in November, but we encourage everyone to start gathering items now. Suggested items include:
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Crayons, pencils, and a notepad
- A small stuffed animal or toy
- Washcloth and soap
- A personal note or letter to the child
Speak with a member of our ministry team on Sunday to pick up an empty shoebox and a packing guide. Every box matters!
